Happy New Year to all Dancing Hot Dogs Readers!

It’s that time of the year where every person makes their New Year Resolutions.  Mine this year is to become healthier by watching what I eat and exercise (seems to be repeated each year) and buying a new car.

I’m not a big fan of working out.  I’ve worked out in the gym of my school during the semester but then fell off my routine.  School work and exams weighed a lot more than working out. So I decided to try something new.

So I’ve started my first goal with the help of Leslie Sansone’s ‘Walk at Home’ DVD.  This is my first DVD experience with Leslie Sansone.  It is five miles of walking.

Yes I said walking.  It’s great!  The miles are split up into five segments.  For the beginners, like myself, can begin to do one or two miles a day then gradually walk five miles a day.  Each mile takes about 12-13 minutes and is split up into three sets, moderate, power and gentle.

There’s no running throughout the whole workout.  Your body is always in motion so by the time you finish a mile, you have no idea.

I definitely recommend anyone who wants a simple energetic exercise to get the DVD.  Another plus is the price.  It’s only ten dollars.

As for my new car, I’ve started to look at some models that I’m interested in.  Last year I had my mind set on getting a convertible.  Then I woke up from my dream and had to look for other types.  I’m still not sure as to what model.

The ideal car for me would be four-door, standard gear, 4 or 6 cylinder, and reliable.

Any suggestions?
